"We purchased a Golden from Gabriel's in 2007, and Spring (Ivy- Bounce litter) is
extremely smart. She picks up on tricks and commands very easily and has been a
pleasure to train. We chose to feed Spring an all raw diet, and her health has been
great. Everyone always comments on how gorgeous she is and how soft her coat is
in comparison with other dogs.
Patty has been a great help through the whole process and is always available to
give tips and advice. She has also watched Spring when we've gone away and our
girl loves going to visit. We would recommend Gabriel's Goldens to anyone
looking for a sweet and loving lifetime companion from a reputable breeder."

"After losing our beloved Golden in March 2007, we were sure we would not find
another dog to fill that void. After hearing of our heartbreak, our friend Tina put us
in touch with Patty. We decided to make the trip to Colorado to see these dogs that
we had heard so many good things about. The minute we saw Bode we knew that
he was just what we were looking for.
Bode (Ivy - Bounce litter) is a great family dog; he loves everybody and he will play
with anyone! He is mellow and well mannered. He especially loves swimming at
the lake at Grandma and Grandpa's house. If there is water around he will be in it!
We chose to feed a combination raw and kibble diet to Bode and he just glows with
health. We stay in touch with Patty and will continue to as she remains interested in
the health of her pups. And besides, then we get to send her pictures of Bode and
his adventures!
We would definitely recommend a pup from Gabriel's Goldens. We love ours!"

"I never thought that a breeder would sell a pup to a college
student. But once I talked to Patty there was no hesitance on her
part that I would give one of her pups a great home. I was so
thrilled I could hardly wait - I had waited 15 years to get my own
dog and the time had come. I agreed immediately to feed raw
Little West (yarn name Scarlet from the Ivy-Zephyr litter) was the
darkest pup of the litter and she just won my heart from day one.
Patty had to determine which pup was pick female before she
could decide which pup went to which owner. I was so happy
when I learned that Scarlet would be mine.
Patty - thank you for my best friend West (Gabriel's Gone with the
West Wind) - she has completed my life! She will be forever
loved."

"Our Golden is joyful, playful and good natured - she is a delightful,
healthy dog. Patty is wonderful to work with, to answer our questions
as Lily has grown up and is always glad to see vacation pictures we've
sent throughout the year. Patty also provided safe and fun boarding
for Lily when she couldn't travel with us.
We chose to feed Lily a raw diet and we continually get compliments
about her coat when we go walking along the canal. We (and our vet)
were unsure at first about raw food but we are convinced now and our
vet says 'don't change a thing.' We make our own meat mix using
Patty's instructions and then feed some high quality kibble.
We love our Golden from Gabriel's!"

"We have owned Goldens before and loved them all but when it comes to
smarts, Riley is almost scary smart. We can't say enough about the brilliant
breeding and sincere love and passion that Patty has for this breed.
Riley is on a raw food and kibble diet. The raw diet is a first for us and it has
been terrific. We thought Patty was a bit crazy when she mentioned feeding
Riley raw chicken necks and backs. It has worked so well, we are now
buying 40 pounds at a time from our local butcher here in Montana.
We have nothing but praise for Gabriel's Goldens and the work that Patty has
done to preserve this phenomenal breed. We have called Patty many times
with questions and if she doesn't have the answer she will research it and get
back with us. Keep up the great work, Patty, and thanks for our beautiful
"Golden Angel".

"The first day we went to meet Patty and see her dogs, we were a
little overwhelmed but the love and happiness she has for her dogs
was contagious. And we all had a ball. It was not a hard decision to
get our Indigo – Gabriels End of the Rainbow. Indy is a Gabe son
and we feel so fortunate to have known Gabe for so many years and
to have one of his sons. Gabe was one of a kind. Our Indy is so
much like Gabe - mellow, friendly with other dogs and people and
good with kids. Our Devyn trained him as a pup at Patty’s training
school. What fun we all had every Saturday morning! Our Indy very
quickly became the glue that made our family bond even tighter. If
you are thinking of a Golden – don’t look any further!"

The care and love Patty has for her Goldens is evident from the minute you walk into
her house.
Elvis was one of only two males in the Ivy-Zephyr litter, but there was never any
question. I visited the litter at about 2 or 3 weeks, and I knew "Cadet" was the one. I
visited again at about 5 or 6 weeks, and he remembered me (or so I like to think).
Elvis is the third Golden to own me, and he is a joy beyond description. He is
everything Golden lovers look for in a friend - smart, fun, intuitive - the whole package.
And you can see from the picture he is also the most handsome dog you may ever see...
If you are considering a Golden, go see Patty. Her raw diet struck me as odd (especially
the large rubber horse trough that she mixes the stuff in) but I was ultimately convinced.
I feed El a combination diet - I mix a high quality kibble with the meat mix I prepare.
Oh - one more thing - did I mention how handsome Elvis is?"
